Education is Key !

The school has a history of educational excellence and has been in operation for the past 20 years. We are fully compliant with GDE ; DSD & The Department of Health & Safety.

Teachers are fully trained and qualified and empowered throughout the year through various other courses. The school also holds a license and accreditation for teacher training and development which takes place every Saturday.

Aftercare for primary school learners are offered providing homework support ;internet access and assistance with projects required for assessments. The school partners with the Primary school teachers directly to help ensure best practice .The teachers /assistants also wait for the learners in our Foundation phase to walk them safely across the road to our centre.

Curriculum Matters

We follow an eclectic model of learning which is a combination of different Educational methodologies such as CAPS ; ELDAS , REGIO Emelia ; Learn through play etc. Learners are assessed daily through the use of observation reports & various rubrics adjusted to suit the age of the learner.

We believe in giving each child the opportunity to shine and for this reason have partnered with various service providers including computers ;dancing; play ball , net ball and swimming to help facilitate analytical and critical thinking skills combined with play and experiential learning.

Meet the Principal

Samantha Retief, born and raised in Eldorado Park and married to her varsity sweetheart Dean Retief and their love further extended to their two beautiful daughters Daniella and Demique.

She is a BCom Law graduate with a major in Contract Law. She is the co-founder of Ignite Family Church ;License holder of an FET College in partnership with Edu- Build Training and the founder of Ignite4Her Leadership Foundation. She is a former 2018 Top 25 Tammy Taylor Mrs SA Finalist and also the titleholder for the TTN Mrs SA 2018 empowerment award. She was also the vice chair person of the ECD Forum SA for 4 years and the chairperson for another 2 years.

Her core strengths are being an includer; relator; initiator and an achiever.
Humility, kindness; diligence and charity are her virtues.

Sams love for Early Chidhood development was birthed 12 years ago when she left corporate & the financial services sector to pursue her calling and spearheaded Children’s out reach and edutainment programs for vulnerable children in their local community. Her love for Education , empowerment and bridging the gap in disparities in our schooling system has birthed 3 Preschools Kiblerpark , Mondeor & an NPO in Eldorado Park.
